Staying Connected: Voice and Hope in a Time of Challenge
This year’s symposium will be an online event scheduled to take place on Saturday, October 30th, 2021, starting at 1 p.m. local Taipei time. Serving as the host this year, NCCU College of Communication cordially invites you to participate and share views.
Our theme this year is Staying connected: Voice and hope in a time of challenge. As we all underwent disruptions caused by the pandemic the past year, it is even worth more appreciation of our efforts across three universities in Seoul, Taipei, and Tokyo to stay connected. Meanwhile, such a time of challenge did teach us to treasure more of what we already have in life while we all hope for betterments in the future.
All the doctoral and master students in the College of Communication are invited to submit research abstracts and make presentations at the symposium. Please submit a 250-word abstract to conference.nccu2021@gmail.com by September 24. Please include a cover page with a title of the paper and the contact information of the author(s). The abstract acceptance will be announced on October 1. The revised abstract that includes research findings should be submitted by October 8.
More details will be announced and updated at: https://www.imics.nccu.edu.tw/.
Should you have any queries, please feel free to contact Ms. Constance Yen via conference.nccu2021@gmail.com.
The symposium is an international platform jointly formed by the University of Tokyo (UT), Seoul National University (SNU), and National Chengchi University (NCCU) since 2017. It has been an annual meeting where our faculty members and graduate students share research interests and exchange ideas in the field of communication and media studies.
